Transmutation and transformation are the processes I employ in my art-making to rise out of the ashes of trauma. I take the abuses + burdens + sorrows placed upon me/us, and heal them in to crocheted, knitted, knotted, and sewn suspended sculptures, wall hangings, and vessels.
My deepest desire is to share with all survivors, everywhere, the message in my work: all is not lost and healing is entirely possible.
The unconditioned love we always longed for is waiting patiently for us in the core of our hearts.
